Festival Internazionale Valle Christi
For twenty years, Kiara Pipino served as Producer, Artistic Director, Artistic Supervisor, and Resident Director of the Festival Internazionale Valle Christi, a showcase for new plays, classical works, musical events, and international artists, staged among the archaeological remains of the Medieval monastery of Valle Christi. The festival gained national recognition over its run, receiving the Premio La Stampa and Premio Liguria critics' awards on multiple occasions, and supported workshops and internships for American students on study-abroad programs. The festival continues today under different leadership, with a stronger focus on music.
She personally supervised and directed a number of the festival's new and classical play productions, including:
